STAT 303: Treating Crossfit athletes

This is an advanced Soft Tissue Assisted Tool (STAT) course. This course is an excellent opportunity to develop your practice and learn how to integrate a soft tissue technique to your practice. Graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Bridgeport College of Chiropractic (UBCC) with a background in Biology, Biochemistry and Physiology. He did his hospital rotation at the Connecticut VA Hospitals at West Haven and Newington. He also attended ground rounds at the Orthopedic department at Yale University. He received his Sports Medicine Certification (CCSM-Certified Chiropractic Sports Medicine) from the Texas College of Chiropractic. As a CCSM he uses Shockwave Therapy as well as the ALLOYGRIP tools to treat multiple sport´s injuries such as: upper and lower tendinitis, frozen shoulder, knee pain, knee tracking issues, tennis elbow, golfers' elbow, planter fasciitis, TFL and ITB pain and more.

Syllabus

This is CS50x , Harvard University's introduction to the intellectual enterprises of computer science and the art of programming for majors and non-majors alike, with or without prior programming experience. An entry-level course taught by David J. Malan, CS50x teaches students how to think algorithmically and solve problems efficiently. Topics include abstraction, algorithms, data structures, encapsulation, resource management, security, software engineering, and web development. Languages include C, Python, SQL, and JavaScript plus CSS and HTML. Problem sets inspired by real-world domains of biology, cryptography, finance, forensics, and gaming. The on-campus version of CS50x , CS50, is Harvard's largest course.

Students who earn a satisfactory score on 9 problem sets (i.e., programming assignments) and a final project are eligible for a certificate. This is a self-paced course–you may take CS50x on your own schedule.

Requirements

This is an advanced course for soft tissue assisted tools (STAT). The course requires knowledge in anatomy and physiology, as well as knowledge in patient care management and experience in sport's medicine. We recommend to take our introduction courses (STAT 101-103) prior to taking this level. The 300 level courses were developed for Sport medicine practitioners, each course is focused on one sport specialty only. This course focuses on cross-fit athletes.

This course is meant to be taken by a healthcare petitioners with patient care management experience. The ALLOYGRIP (STAT) are not toys, they are professional tools (made from high grade surgical steel) that should be used only trained individuals.
